Manchmal ertappt man sich beim Schreiben von Texten zu anstehenden Konzerten dabei, dass man keine vernünftige Assoziation zur Musik bekommt. Sie kann einem noch so gut gefallen, aber es entsteht kein „rundes“ Gefühl.
Beim Hören von „And the Wiremen“ ist das in keiner Weise der Fall. Im Kopf beginnt eine wilde Reise durch Filme … mal kommt man sich in einen Tarantino Film versetzt vor, manchmal hat man das Gefühl in einem Western gelandet zu sein. Und auch Kassablanca scheint plötzlich auf doppelte Art und Weise nur um die Ecke zu liegen. Auch der eine oder andere Besuch in Sin City ist möglich.
Das Ganze wird dabei in der einzigartigen, schaurig schönen Wehmut präsentiert, die man mit gutem Jazz verbindet. Die Tatsache, dass man beim Hören fast durchgängig an wunderbare Filme erinnert wird, macht die Musik der Band zu einem genialen Erlebnis!

Like a movie – but live!
Sometimes, when you try to write a text, you really don´t know what to say about the music. You definately do like it… but still don´t know what to say!
In case of „And the Wireman“ it´s different. By listening to the songs, your mind is travelling through several movies: a Western, a good Quentin Tarantino or Sin City? Even Kassablanca just seems to be right around the corner, in an ambuigity.
All this is accompanied with unique and beautiful wistfulness, which reminds you of good Jazz. The fact that you´re always reminded of good movies makes the band´s music to an remarkable experience!
